Second Circular

Welcome

Since the first meeting more than 25 years ago, CAC has been a great opportunity to share experiences, exchange knowledge and widen horizons. We hope this meeting will also bring positive and fruitful collaboration between chemometricians, chemists, engineers and bioscientists. Take this opportunity to join us and thus contribute to the success of the 10th CAC.

Venue

The conference will be held at Hotel Monte Real Resort located in Águas de Lindóia, a small town 160 km north of São Paulo city and very representative of the local Brazilian countryside. The thermal springs of Águas de Lindóia are highly regarded, since the 18th century, for leisure and hydrotherapy. It became well known in Europe after the visit of Madame Curie, the Nobel Prize winner in Chemistry, in 1928 (see a page dedicated to this event!).

Águas de Lindóia has a dry temperate climate at this time of the year with an average temperature of 22oC (72F). São Paulo and Águas de Lindóia are connected by a modern and safe highway cruising through beautiful and scenic landscapes. Participants should arrive and depart from the São Paulo International Airport - GUARULHOS (also known as Cumbica). This airport is connected directly to the main cities of the world.

Prepare yourself for early morning walks in the woods up to the surrounding mountains!
