Abstract.
IAC Campinas and Dover are standard cultivars for the São Paulo
and Minas Gerais strawberry market. Aiming to evaluate new cultivars, multivariate
data obtained from agronomic experimentation were subjected to principal
components. The oBrix classification was the unique variable
that allowed discrimination of different classes. Some combinations of
interest to the "in natura" market and to its processing and genetic improment
were detected.
