Social Program & Excursions

Social activities include a welcome dinner on September 11th with Brazilian music and folk dance; a visit to "EXPOFLORA", the annual flower and plant exhibition at Holambra on Thursday afternoon, followed by the Conference Banquet, a typical Brazilian "churrasco". Holambra is a lovely small town settled by the Dutch (30 Km from Campinas). It is considered the greatest center of flower production and commerce in Brazil. You will be in contact with the enchanting landscape offered by fields full of color, white greenhouses spotted among the green fields, and the Dutch architectural style.
