LODGING AND
VENUE
CAC-2002 will
be held at the Washington Athletic Club (WAC) in downtown Seattle. Consistently
ranked as one of America's most livable cities, in part due to its distractingly
beautiful location, Seattle is next to Puget Sound and between the Cascade
and Olympic Mountains. Seattle has easy access from the US, Europe and
the Orient, with direct flights available from Copenhagen, London, Amsterdam,
Tokyo, Hong Kong, Sydney and many other cities.
The WAC is conveniently
located on 6th Avenue in the heart of downtown Seattle with its many restaurants
and waterfront attractions. Much more than just a health club, the WAC
features outstanding conference facilities, restaurants, bars, and sleeping
rooms. A block of 75 sleeping rooms has been held for conference participants
at the special conference rate of $135 a night (single or double occupancy,
plus 15.6% tax). These rates are good three days prior and following your
conference as long as space is available.
