Welcome

Dear colleagues,

We are pleased to announce that the 7th Colloquium Chemiometricum Mediterraneum (CCM VII 2010 - Granada) will take place in Granada (Spain) from 21 till 24 June 2010.

The venue of the Conference will be held at the "El Carmen de la Victoria" (University of Granada, Granada, Spain). It is located in the Albayzin neighbourhood, opposite to Alhambra.

In 1986, during an international conference, several French, Spanish and Italian chemometricians, each one speaking his own language, gathered and were able to share their own experiences on this topic. This fact were the seeds of the Colloquium Chemiometricum Mediterraneum.

These series of Conferences has had continuity, starting in Barcelona (Spain, 1987), and following in San Miniato (Italy, 1991), Bastia (France, 1994), Burgos (Spain, 1998), Ustica (Italy, 2003) and Saint Maximin La Sainte-Baume (France, 2007).

The Colloquium aims to:

  • have a scientific forum where French, Spanish and Italian speakers working in Chemometrics can express themselves in their spoken language
  • discuss special aspects of problems requiring Chemometrics
  • present new developments and advances in Chemometrics
  • prepare international collaborations and projects
  • study strategies and programs for teaching Chemometrics and to exchange students and young researchers

The scientific programme includes all studies performed with classical tools, as well as the new ones in Chemometrics. The conference brings an outstanding and unique opportunity for exchanging knowledge on leading edge developments.

On this website we will try to provide all you all the essential information about this colloquium, in order to make your stay in Granada as pleasant as possible. Besides, in Granada you will have the opportunity of enjoying the famous city, tasting the famous Spanish gastronomy and wines, and enjoying the typical Andalusia landscapes and seaside of the tropical coast of Granada.

We look forward to welcoming you in this interesting colloquium.

On behalf of the scientific and Organising committees,

Prof. Luis Cuadros Rodríguez
